Supertrak — RC-CTL

Supertrak Integrated Technology offers a fully compatible radio remote control system for CAT^® CTL machines. These same controls are used on Supertrak TR machines for applications requiring remote controls.

• Two modes of operation: Standard, the controls operate as normal from the cab; Remote, machine is controlled via radio remote.
• All machine controls from the remote is passed through the existing CAT control system.
• Safety interlocks: If machine controls are switched from cab to radio machine shuts down and is restarted on the remote; Machine out of radio range causes machine shutdown; Override to get machine out of trouble without shutting down engine.
• Radio range: 300 meters line of sight

I/O Radio Side

• Key switch for power on
• Remote engine start
• Emergency kill switch (stops engine)
• LED for alarms (battery oil, eng, hi temp, hyd. hi temp)
• Park brake on/off
• High/low speed
• Joystick left (propel/steer) (4 quadrant)
• Joystick right (boom/bucket) (4 quadrant)
• Creep mode
• Alarm over ride
• Engine speed up/down

I/O Machine Side

• Engine temp, oil press, battery, hyd. temp on can
• Remote/local mode (digital input)
• Supply output signals to emulate joysticks (machine must be shut down to go from local to remote)
• Output for engine start
• Output for engine run
• Brake release (1 n/o, 1 n/c)
• High/low travel speed select (digital output)
• Hydraulic tool circuit 1 (digital output)
• Hydraulic tool circuit 2 (digital output)

Switch Description

• SW1: RADIO ON/OFF/ENABLE (START)
• SW2: PROPEL/STEERING JOYSTICK
• SW3: BOOM/BUCKET JOYSTICK
• SW4: SPARE SWITCH (NOT USED)
• SW5: ENGINE RPM INCREASE/DECREASE
• SW6: ENGINE START/STOP/RUN
• SW7: AUX 1 FUNCTION ON/OFF
• SW8: PARK BRAKE RELEASE
• SW9: TRAVEL SPEED HI/LO/CREEP
• SW11: AUX 2 FUNCTION ON/OFF
• PB2: RADIO RESET
